Learn how to make Eastern European dumplings called pierogi and then snack on what you cook up! Open to teenagers in grades seven to 12, this free class will be held in the kitchen of Now You’re Cooking, 49 Front St., Bath. Pre-registration is required because space is limited to eight participants. Registrants must reside in the Library service area or hold a valid library card.

The class will be taught by Louisa Edgerton, an employee of Now You’re Cooking, who recently returned from Poland, where she made traditional Polish pierogi.

“Now that we are moving into colder weather this is the ultimate comfort food,” saud Edgerton. “Pierogi can be stuffed with lots of different fillings. Some are sweet, others are savory, but all of them are delicious.”
