RICHMOND — Jeffrey S. Wing, 49, passed away peacefully on September 9, 2016. He was born in Maryland on June 9, 1967, the son of Ron and Charlotte “Kitty” (Haines) Wing.

Jeff attended Bath schools and graduated from Morse High School in 1985. He was employed at Bath Iron Works was a welder for many years and live with his cousin Brian Pearson in later years.

In his youth Jeff loved sports and was also involved in Boy Scouts. He was a quarterback for Morse High School. As an adult he played softball for the American Legion team in Bath. Jeff never lost his loved for camping and hanging out with high school classmates.

He is survived by his son, Nathaniel A. Wing of Arizona, his daughter, Kristina (Wing) Cloutier of Topsham, 4 grandchildren, his mother, Charlotte “Kitty” Doyle and her husband John of Bath, his father, Ronald C. Wing Sr. of Brunswick, his brother, Ronald C. Wing II and his wife Raven of Brunswick, his paternal grandmother, Mildred Wing of Bath, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be held at a later date at Oak Grove cemetery in Bath. Entrance to the cemetery is off of the Old Brunswick Road. A gathering of family and friends will follow at the American Legion in Bath. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Legion, c/o Youth Activities., 200 Congress Avenue, Bath, 04530.
