BATH — The eighth annual Shipbuilders Golf Scramble was held at Bath Golf Club recently.

The team of Linda Levesque, Leon Oliver, Bryan Champagne and Ray Champagne were the top grossing team, followed by the foursomes of Brad Ewald, Steve Burow, Greg Grondin and Casey Walker, and Ryan Talbot, Dick Klingaman, Jon Bird and Mike McGuire.

Karl Steinbach, David Penley, Vinnie Matson and Neil Martin won the top net competition, edging the foursomes of John Grose, Troy Chaput, Andy Oullette, Scott Richards, and Bob Warren, Matt Belanger, Scott Curtis and Jeremy Engel.

In all, 51 local businesses and individuals sponsored holes and 27 teams participated in the event, with $12,000 raised.

The event was a fundraiser for the Morse All-Sports Boosters, and all profits went directly to Morse athletes and athletic programs. Bob and Traci Footer were this year’s chairpersons.
