TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat Middle School eighth grade boys soccer team defeated Bath, 8-2 on Thursday.
Mt. Ararat opened the scoring with the first three goals of the game. William Hagan notched the first two scores, one on a cross from Sebastian Scherry and another following a rebounded Scherry shot.
After Kobe Clark added a goal from the penalty spot, Scherry got through on net and scored to make the score 4-1.
Scherry earned another assist when Owen Yasbra punched in a cross. Jesse Dash scored a long shot and Austin Berry punched one in before Clark rounded out the scoring with a finish in the upper corner
