FALMOUTH (AP) — State police in Maine say they have charged a homeless man in connection with the death of a man whom he formerly lived with.

Police say 27-yearold Kenneth Briggs was charged with murder and taken to jail. The former Portland resident is charged in connection with the death of 67-yearold Roger Nelsen.

Police say Nelsen’s body was found earlier this week in a Falmouth parking lot.

Briggs is expected to appear in court for the first time on Monday. It was unclear on Friday if he had an attorney.
