He loved music and singing in his car, everything from Tupac Shakur to AC/DC. He also enjoyed lobstering and being out on the water.
Dylan has joined his Grammie Rita, Grammie Ruth and Great Grammie Carter in heaven.
He is survived by: his loving mother, Theresa Bowdoin; his brother, Zachary; his half-sister, Cassandra; his father, Lance Persson; and many cousins, aunts and uncles.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 14, at Church on the Cape, 3 Langsford Road, Cape Porpoise. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Dylan’s name to: National Kidney Foundation of New England, 85 Astor Ave. #2, Norwood, MA 02062.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
