From the Journal Tribune: “The situation facing the University of New England, with a male to female ratio of 70 to 30 on both the Biddeford and Westbrook campuses, is nothing out of the ordinary. As UNE considers an expansion of their male varsity sports program – adding a baseball team to the roster – some administrators hope this will be one way to attract more male students to campus.”

From the Biddeford-Saco Journal: “Since many youngsters and a few adults seem to want to grow up to be batmen they might try getting their training straight from the source: The bat. The Boston Museum of Science has prepared an exhibit of 30 brown bats in a setting that resembles a deserted woodshed in the dim light of dawn.”
