The Arundel Historical Society would like to take the opportunity to thank these individuals for their contributions to improve the site at our North Chapel Common Project:
Cape Arundel Cottage Preserve, through the efforts of Joe Paolini, developer and managing partner, donated their own site gravel, and Bentley Warren, owner of Bentley’s Saloon, supplied the trucks for transporting the gravel to our site.
Through their generous joint effort, we were able to begin the entrance road to the North Chapel site, thus making it more accessible for our continued work on improvement of the buildings and eventual meetinghouse.
It goes without saying that if support such as this from local businesses were not available, organizations such as ours would be hard-pressed to fulfill our mission of education and community building. We can’t thank them enough.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
