ARROWSIC — FairPoint Communications recently announced the completion of a broadband upgrade project in Arrowsic. As a result, faster broadband speeds are available in more than 160 locations in the community.
“Broadband access opens doors to the world for the residents and businesses in Maine and is fundamental to the state’s future economic growth,” said Mike Reed, FairPoint’s Maine state president.
Residents on portions of the following streets now qualify for broadband speeds associated with their proximity to the upgrade: Arrowsic Road, Bald Head Road, Chaffee Drive, Collins Pattee Road, Cottage Road, Fisher Eddy Road, Freda’s Lane, Georgetown Road, Indian Rest Road, Island Hill Road, Mosquito Run, Newtown Road, Old Stage Road, Pineledge Lane, Spinney Mill Road and Steen Road.
