The annual Memorial weekend pancake breakfast, put on by the Atlantic Hall, will be held from 8-11 a.m. at the hall, Cape Porpoise Square. The menu includes plain and blueberry pancakes, sausages, juice, real butter, real maple syrup and coffee. The cost for adults is $7 for adults and $4 for children. There will also be a yard sale outside. All profits will benefit the Atlantic Hall building and maintenance fund.

“Mini-masterpieces,” hosted by the Kittery Art Association will be held from 4-6 p.m. at 8 Coleman Ave., Kittery Point. For more information, call 451-9384 on weekends or visit kitteryartassociation.org.

A brunch for all veterans and family members will be hosted by the Kennebunk Baptist Church, 77 Main St., at 10 a.m. in the church vestry, followed by a special service of recognition at 11 a.m. in the sanctuary. The event is free.

The film “Theeb” will be shown by the York Public Library at 3 p.m. The movie is set in the Ottoman province of Hijaz during World War I, and follows a young Bedouin boy, Theeb, who experiences a greatly hastened coming of age as he embarks on a perilous desert journey to guide a British officer to his secret destination. All but one of the actors are Bedouin villagers who have never acted before. The movie is in Arabic with subtitles, is not rated, and has a 100 minute run time. A summer kick-off for the Oceanwood…………… Camp and Conference Center will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at 17 Royal St., Ocean Park. There will be many activities including carnival games, arts and crafts, a bounce house, inflatable bowling, pony rides and face painting.
