TOPSHAM — The Mt. Ararat Middle School seventh grade baseball team edged past Tripp, 4-3 on Monday.
Cal Davies won his third consecutive game, going six innings. Kobe Clark pitched a scoreless seventh with two strikeouts for the save.
The offense was led by Conner Moody, Brandon Durant, Shane Tanguay, Clark and Michael Caputo. Andrew Dyer and Brandon Durant scored the tying and winning runs in the fifth inning. Moody made a sparkling defensive catch in center field to help preserve the win.
