Business gets done on the golf course. Get your team together and join the Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber on the greens for the fourth annual Hacker’s Ball Golf Tournament. The chamber fundraiser is Friday, May 13 at Brunswick Golf Club on 165 River Road. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Cathance River Education Alliance. Learn more at creamaine.org.
Tickets start at $85 per person, for up to four on a team, and includes 18 holes on Brunswick Golf Club’s championship course — featuring its tree-lined fairways and picturesque greens — a light breakfast, lunch and appetizers during the prize and award presentations. Sign-in on the day of the event begins at 8 a.m., with tee-off at 9 a.m. Registration is available at www.midcoastmaine.com/calendar/event/ 8115.
The Hacker’s Ball is presented by the Southern Midcoast Maine Chamber, produced by its young professionals networking group, Midcoast Edge, and is sponsored by Norton Insurance, McLeod Ascanio CPAs, SiteLines, Brunswick Golf Club, and LeaderBoard of Boston.
Companies interested in promoting their organization at Hacker’s Ball 2016 should contact Nick Favreau at midcoastedge@midcoastmaine.com. Sponsorship levels begin at $200.
LeaderBoard of Boston returns to the Hacker’s Ball for a special challenge hole. For $10 per shot, participants can purchase a shot with the LeaderBoard AirCannon for a chance to win a seven-night stay for two at one of 3,000 resorts. Closest to the hole wins.
