BRUNSWICK — Atlantic Regional Federal Credit Union has launched a new scholarship program to members who are graduating from high school. The program will award one $7,500 scholarship, one $2,500 scholarship, one $1,000 scholarship and eight $500 scholarships to assist members who are furthering their education at an accredited two- or four-year undergraduate program.
Entrants must submit a completed application, write a 350-400-word essay, provide a reference letter from a high school teacher or counselor, their most recent transcript and a resume, including ways the student has supported their community.
To apply, members may download an application online or obtain one at any Atlantic Regional branch in Brunswick, Topsham, Freeport or Cumberland. Applications will also be available in the guidance departments at Brunswick High School, Mt. Ararat High School, Freeport High School and Greely High School.
