ONE HUNDRED-THIRTY MEMBERS came to the People Plus 40th anniversary event last week at the center on Union Street in Brunswick, where Sen. Angus S. King, I-Maine, spoke about life in Washington DC and issues facing our senior population. Guests were treated to a slideshow of pictures, presentations and readings by groups and clubs made up of members including the Write on Writers and Center Stage Players. They also enjoyed delicious refreshments including pizza generously donated by Portland Pie Co., located on Maine Street in Brunswick.
