The 2015 Maine Drama Festival’s one-act play competition regionals were held on March 4 and 5 at nine locations around the state, and two Midcoast schools will advance to the next round.
Freeport High School and Lisbon High School will compete in the Class B one-act play state finals scheduled for March 18 and 19.
The Class B finals, which feature schools that have less than 525 students, will compete at Stearns High School. Class A, which consists of schools with more than 525 students, will compete at Camden Hills Regional High School.
A complete list of schools advancing to the State Finals:
Class A: Oceanside, Falmouth, Bonny Eagle, Waterville, Oxford Hills, South Portland, Lawrence, Westbrook
Class B: Ellsworth, Lincoln Academy, Baxter Academy, Lee Academy, MCI, Foxcroft Academy, Mount Desert, Freeport, Winslow, Lisbon.
