BRUNSWICK — Henry and Marty Restaurant and Catering will be hosting the ninth annual “Dinner to Fight Hunger” to benefit the Mid Coast Hunger Prevention Program in Brunswick on Monday, March 14. This event has raised more than $50,000 in support of MCHPP’s programs over the last eight years.
The evening features a three-course prix-fixe menu of locally sourced food for $50/person. All of the proceeds, including drink sales and tips, benefit MCHPP.
Paul Hollingsworth and Aaron Park, owners of Henry and Marty, decided to begin hosting this fundraiser for the first time in 2008. Park said, “It’s always been part of our business plan to give back to the community, and this event is such a good marriage between what we do with food and what MCHPP does with their services.”
“We love this event, because it is a wonderful way to bring the Brunswick community together to celebrate a great restaurant and support a worthy cause,” said Karen Parker, executive director of MCHPP.
To attend, call Henry and Marty Restaurant at (207) 721-9141 to make a reservation.
