CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich.
L.L. Bean plans to open its first Michigan retail store this summer.
The Freeport-based company said Friday the store will be at The Mall at Partridge Creek in the Detroit suburb of Clinton Township.
The company said it expects to hire nearly 100 people for the store. Information for those interested in jobs there will be posted online.
L.L. Bean already has more than two dozen retail stores outside of Maine.
