BRUNSWICK
Maine State Music Theatre has announced local auditions for the 2016 season to be held at 22 Elm St., Brunswick. Auditions will be open call on Feb. 27 10 a.m. for local children and 1:30 p.m. for local adults.
Actors are asked to prepare 16 bars of a song, and to bring sheet music as well as a picture and resume, stapled back-to-back. An accompanist will be provided. Some may be asked to stay for callbacks and a dance call.
MSMT is looking to cast Maine child actors of all ages for the following shows:
• “Evita.” First rehearsal June 11. Runs June 29-July 16.
• “Fiddler on the Room.” First rehearsal July 2. Runs July 20-Aug. 6.

• “Fiddler on the Roof.” First rehearsal July 2. Runs July 20-Aug. 6.
• “Mamma Mia!” First rehearsal July 23. Runs Aug. 10-27.
• “Jack and the Beanstalk.” First rehearsal May 23. Runs June 15.
• “The Irish … And How They Got That Way.” First rehearsal Aug. 2. Runs Aug. 19-Sept. 3 with a possible two-week extension.
