OTTAWA, Ontario (AP) — Standout rookie Jack Eichel scored twice to erase a onegoal deficit and Buffalo came back to beat Ottawa.
Eichel tied it 2-2 with 6:12 left in the second period, then got the winner 1:08 into the third to help the Sabres end a three-game slide.
Evander Kane had the other goal for Buffalo, which got 34 saves from Robin Lehner in his first win of the season.

MONTREAL (AP) — Brandon Dubinsky and Cam Atkinson each had a goal and an assist to help Columbus beat Montreal and sweep a home-and-home.

WINNIPEG, Manitoba (AP) — Rookie Nikolaj Ehlers had a hat trick and Dustin Byfuglien added two goals and an assist to help Winnipeg beat Arizona.
Veteran winger Blake Wheeler assisted on all of Ehlers’ goals, and Ehlers’ first hat trick extended his point streak to four games.

VANCOUVER, British Columbia (AP) — James Neal scored late in the third period to lift Nashville over Vancouver.
Pekka Rinne stopped 28 shots and Craig Smith had the other goal for the Predators.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — Joe Thornton had two assists to become the 33rd player to reach 1,300 career points, and San Jose extended its point streak to 10 games with a victory over Colorado.
