BRUNSWICK — Adrian Reyes and Myrna Gonzalez, a local mother and son team, invite businesses and the public to their ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, Jan. 21, at 10 a.m. for their new Kings & Queens Hair Studio.
Their vision is to create a royal grooming experience for the whole family, borrowing from what they love most about classic American barbershops and salons.
They offer a flexible range of hours, in addition to a comfortable and welcoming environment. As a single-parent family, they know that getting to a salon before or after work is not always easy. With them, customers will be able to get their “royal grooming” on their time.
Call (207) 373-0966, or visit 50 Maine St. in Brunswick. The new salon is located between Frosty’s Donuts and Shere Punjab Restaurant.
Studio hours are Monday, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.; Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Special appointments are available, along with walk-in service.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
