
Mt. Ararat, having to play away from Bowdoin College’s Sidney J. Watson Arena after Saturday’s postponement, improved to 5-4 and hosts Lake Region/Fryeburg Academy/Oxford Hills on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.
In all 10 players got on the scoresheet for the Eagles, led by Sam Alexander and Mark Abreu, both with a goal and two assists. Bradley Boulet had two goals, while Noah Austin added two helpers.
Mt. Ararat/Lisbon/Morse goaltender Parker Lacey earned the win, making 18 saves on 22 shots.
Brady Martin and Sean Savage had a goal and an assist for the 1-8 Bandits, who also got goals from Alex Paul and Sam Craig. Lawrence/Skowhegan netminder Curtis Martin took the loss, making eight saves on 13 shots. Backup Hunter Raye made 14 saves on 18 shots in relief.
The Eagles finished 2-for-4 on the power play, while the Bandits went 1-for-5.

Matt Deveaux’s second goal of the contest with four minutes remaining was the difference as the Dragons won their second straight Class B South contest at Dover, N.H.
York’s (8-3) Thomas Carr had four goals, but Brunswick (7-5-1) scored two goals in all three periods.
Matt Deveaux, Jared Hummer, Quinn Solbeg and Jameson Cyr added a goal each for the Dragons, with Michael Eno, Cyr and Nate Granholm picking up two helpers each.
Brunswick returns to action on Jan. 30 at home against Kennebunk (7:30 p.m.).

Tanner McClure’s second goal of the game completed a three-goal second period as Massabesic/Bonny Eagle/Old Orchard Beach captured a win over South Portland/Freeport/Waynflete at Troubh Ice Arena in Portland.
Brandon Caron also added a goal for the visitors (5-5).
Cameron Gilles and Max Winson each picked up a goal for the Red Riots, who fell to 3-7-1 and visits Camden Hills on Saturday at 6 p.m.
Girls hockey
BRUNSWICK — Madeline Wilkes capped a four-goal second period with a goal as Yarmouth/Freeport/Gray- New Gloucester pulled away for a 5-0 victory over Mt. Ararat/Morse at Sidney J. Watson Arena on Monday.
Jennifer Holmquist, Molly Wilson, Margaret Perrotta and Sydney St. Pierre each added a goal as the Clippers improved to 5-8 and visits St. Dom’s on Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Eagles’ netminder Sydney McLure had 31 saves in the loss.
Mt. Ararat/Morse (1-14) hosts Lewiston on Thursday at 7:45 p.m.

Grace Campbell scored the game-winning goal to complete her hat trick as the host Wildcats held off the Dragons at Dover Ice Arena.
Beth Labbe tallied two goals for 7-8-1 Brunswick, with Rayna Sage, Tessa Cassidy and Jenna Brooks each picking up an assist.
York improved to 6-7.
Brunswick is slated to visit St. Dom’s on Saturday at 4:10 p.m.
Boys basketball
CAPE ELIZABETH — Host Cape Elizabeth outscored Freeport 15-6 in the third quarter to pull away for a Western Maine Conference win on Monday.
The Capers improved to 10-3, while the Falcons dropped to 2-11 and hosts Kennebunk on Friday at 7 p.m.
Finn Bowe had 15 points and Marcus Donnelly 10 for Cape Elizabeth, which held quarter leads of 14-8, 28-20 and 43-26.
Caleb Rice nailed two 3- pointers and finished with a team-high eight points for Freeport. Nate Pelletier had six points and Jack Davenport five.
