
She enjoyed ballet dancing, travel, and had a great love and support for animals. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Carolyn was predeceased by her husband Walter Brewer and son Daniel R. Carter.
Carolyn is survived by her two sons, Arthur A. Carter of Boothbay Harbor and Brian M. Carter and wife Katherine F. Carter of Richmond; her brother, Robert B. Rice and wife June Rice of Boothbay; her grandchildren, Michelle (Carter) Byras, Tymbre Carter, Shad Carter, Matthew Carter, and six great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Sept. 27 from 1 to 3 p.m. at her son’s home at 750 Brunswick Road, Richmond, Maine. Donations may be given to the local animal shelters.
