THE TEENS and coordinator Jordan Cardone of the Brunswick Area Teen Center thank Kelsie West-Ezzo and the Edward Jones Topsham office for their donations of collected school supplies. The teens received pens, pencils, notebooks, string bags and calulators that they could choose from for the new school year. The Brunswick Area Teen Center serves local kids in grades 6-12 in an afterschool program 2:30-5:30 p.m. Monday-Thursday. Teens unwind playing basketball, video games, paint nails, and utilize computers for homework, and get snacks and a meal before they leave. This year the center celebrates its 10th anniversary with an open house at its location at People Plus 4-5:30 p.m. on Sept. 17. For more information visit www.peopleplusmaine.org.
