TOPSHAM
Back by popular demand, Chewonki presents ‘Tide Pools’ at the Topsham Public Library at 2 p.m., July 24.
The tide pool is home to a variety of species whose unique adaptations allow them to maintain stability in a world that is in a constant state of change. Using this interactive traveling display, participants will dip their hands into the three zones of Maine’s rocky intertidal ecosystem and touch some of the ocean’s most magnificent species. Find out more at www.chewonki.org.
This event is open to all ages who can sit quietly and limited to the first 100 people. The Topsham Public Library is located at 25 Foreside Road in Topsham. For more information, contact the library at 725-1727 or go to www.topshamlibrary.org.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
You can read more here about our commenting policy and terms of use. More information is also found on our FAQs.
