BRUNSWICK — In recent Brunswick Cal Ripken baseball action, G.M. Wild and Taylor Forestry played to a 4-4 stalemate.
Tucker Gagnon of G.M. Wild and Henry Barnham of Taylor Forestry pitched well from the start. Barnham struck out six in two frames. The teams combined on 23 strikeouts, with Isaac Albaugh and Matt Duhaine throwing well in relief for Taylor Forestry, while Oscar Herrara and Sam Masse were solid for G.M. Wild.
Defensively, G.M. Wild catcher Masse threw out a pair of base-stealers, while third baseman Deven Cameron made two solid plays.
Burnham doubled, Cody Larson tripled and Alex Hannaford doubled for Taylor Forestry, while Masse ripped a two-run double and single for G.M. Wild. Evan Kilfoil, Caleb Thompson and Cameron chipped in with one hit apiece.
