PEOPLE PLUS’S 13TH ANNUAL MUSIC IN APRIL gala fundraiser brought in nearly $45,000 for the seniors and teens of our community. It takes more than two dozen volunteers on a committee headed by O’ Jeanne d’Arc Mayo (pictured here with several volunteers) to make that happen, and People Plus is appreciative of them all. Combining wonderful food donated by area restaurants, local live musicians, and amazing auctions items, Music in April is People Plus’s signature fundraiser. People Plus serves the greater Brunswick, Topsham and Harpswell communities by offering a variety of health and wellness activities for older adults; while we operate the Brunswick Area Teen Center for youth in grades 6-12. People Plus also provides outreach and transportation services, scholarships for membership and many volunteer opportunities. It exists in part due to the hard work of its volunteers.
