BATH — Glenn Hutchinson, Bath Savings Institution’s president and CEO, recently announced the promotion of two bank employees.

Rebecca Chandler, a retail lender at the bank’s Yarmouth branch, has been promoted to assistant vice president retail lending. Originally from Hollis, Chandler worked for Disney before beginning her banking career at Bath Savings in 2008. In January 2013, she joined the retail lending group.

Chandler is currently serving on the board of CREA — the Cathance River Education Alliance, and lives in Cumberland with her husband and three children.

Linda Anderson, a Boothbay resident, has been promoted to vice president, branch manager of the bank’s Boothbay office. Before joining BSI, Anderson lived in Connecticut where she started her banking career. She previously worked as a real estate broker and as a senior lender before relocating to Maine.

She and her husband moved to Maine and she became the manager of BSI’s Boothbay Harbor office in 2003. Anderson has been a docent/visitor center ambassador at Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens for the past five years.

Hutchinson said, “Both Linda and Rebecca demonstrate the bank’s mission of providing exceptional service without exception to each customer they serve. That commitment to service is especially important in the mortgage process, something they both do very well.”
