BRUNSWICK — Earlier this month at Brunswick High School’s Crooker Theater, Atlantic Regional Federal Credit Union members gathered together for their 74th Annual Meeting, according to a news release.

This year’s meeting was dedicated to the recent passing of ARFCU board member Camille Gagne, whose devoted support to the credit union will never be forgotten.

Addressing the membership were David Leclerc (chairman), Roger Sirois (president/ CEO), and Gary Glenn (executive vice president, Synergent). Sirois welcomed and thanked everyone for another successful year and reminded members that their credit union is always ready to assist them with their financial needs. He also announced that in 2014, out of 6,500 credit unions, ARFCU was recognized as being the 108th healthiest credit union in the United States.

During the awards portion of the event, Atlantic Regional presented the 2014 Outstanding Employee of the Year award to Amanda Peacock for her dedicated work ethic and excellent customer service abilities. In addition, the following employees were recognized for their years of service to the credit union: Amanda Peacock (10 years), Timberly Harrington (10 years), Valerie Campbell (10 years), Sherry Pelkey (15 years), Susan Fusselman (20 years), and Linda Davis (30 years).

A special thanks to Father Murray of All Saints Parish for the invocation, the Brunswick Knights of Columbus Honor Guard for the presentation of colors and to Andrea Leblanc of Topsham for singing the national anthem.

Atlantic Regional Federal Credit Union is a federally chartered credit union in Maine with assets of $287,918,890 — serving more than 19,300 members from offices in Brunswick, Freeport, Topsham and Cumberland.
