LISBON FALLS — From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, March 1, the public is invited to attend the 22nd Annual World’s Greatest Sleigh Ride at Rte. 125 and Bowdoinham Road in Lisbon Falls.
A local tradition for 22 years, the World’s Greatest Sleigh Ride offers winter fun for the whole family. Guests will enjoy horsedrawn sleigh rides in the fresh snow, hot chocolate, hot dogs, and homemade doughnuts. Since its inception, this beloved community event has raised over $50,000 for Pine Tree Camp, a summer camp for Maine children and adults with disabilities. The World’s Greatest Sleigh Ride is made possible by The Prejepscot Sno-Chiefs and The Maine Draft Horse Club.
Tickets to this event are $4 for adults, $3 for kids, and all the proceeds benefit Pine Tree Camp. For more information, call Erin at 386-9511.

We believe it's important to offer commenting on certain stories as a benefit to our readers. At its best, our comments sections can be a productive platform for readers to engage with our journalism, offer thoughts on coverage and issues, and drive conversation in a respectful, solutions-based way. It's a form of open discourse that can be useful to our community, public officials, journalists and others.
We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
