Since Brunswick Naval Air Station closed in 2011, redevelopment at Brunswick Landing and Topsham Commerce Park continue to have a positive economic impact. To date, this project has attracted more than $150 million in private investment and added $65 million to local property tax valuation while the Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority continues to outpace its 2005 BRAC peers. Come to the Chamber Regional Luncheon to learn more.
The event is Wednesday, March 11, 11:15 a.m. to 1 p.m., and takes place at the Brunswick Hotel and Tavern, located on the corner of Noble and Maine streets in downtown Brunswick. Our invited speaker is Steve Levesque, executive director of the Midcoast Regional Redevelopment Authority (MRRA). As the executive director, Steve oversees the implementation of the Reuse Master Plans for Naval Air Station Brunswick (NASB) and the Topsham Annex. You must pre-register to attend this event, so go to our scrolling calendar at www.midcoastmaine.com to register.
