BRUNSWICK — Sexual Assault Support Services of Midcoast Maine is seeking Volunteer Advocates for our 24-hour crisis and support line.

Volunteer Advocates receive a small hourly stipend for being on call and carrying a pager. The hourly stipend amount increases during a support line call, hospital accompaniment call, or police accompaniment call.

Experience in a social services field is desirable. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license are required. Extensive training will be provided. The training is unpaid.

If you are interested in learning more or would like to schedule a pre-training screening interview, please contact SASSMM’s Community Advocate, Molly Donlan, by phone (207)725-2181 or email communityadv@sassmm.org.
