ROCKPORT — Tickets are on sale for Midcoast Community Chorus’s winter concert, Music Down In My Soul. The performance will be held on Sunday, January 11th at 4 p.m. at the Strom Auditorium in Rockport. Well known for its high energy sold out-performances, MCC will be singing its usual eclectic mix of music including pieces from composers Moses Hogan and Paul Ticheli, folks songs from around the world, songs from musicals Big River and Riverdance, and rumor has it that this concert will also feature music from the bluegrass tradition. Led by MCC Artistic Director, Mimi Bornstein, accompanied by Assistant Director, Sean Fleming, MCC’s house band, and a few special guest musicians, this promises to be a fabulous afternoon of song and community.
Tickets are $30 and $22 for reserved seats, and $15 for General Admission. Please purchase your tickets at Brown Paper Tickets: www.brownpapertickets.com, or through MCC’s website: www.mccsings.org.
