TOPSHAM — Thresea Breed of Mt. Ararat Middle School led all game scorers with 13 points in Monday’s match up against Oxford Hills, but the Vikings were able to come away with the 26-25 victory.
The Vikings led at the half 12-8, but the Eagles fought back, outscoring the Vikings 10-6 in the fourth quarter. However, it wasn’t enough to push the Eagles past Oxford Hills.
Reese Turcotte and Kyla Greenleaf added six points each for the Eagles, while Cecilia Dietrich led the Vikings with eight points, followed by Brooke Carson and Haley Dillingham with four.
Mt. Ararat will host Auburn on Thursday.
