BRUNSWICK —Maine State Music Theatre announced today that Katie White has joined the Administrative Office Staff as Group Sales and Outreach Manager. This role was created by MSMT to develop connections within the local community as well as foster relationships with seasonal tourist groups.

White is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Journalism and Advertising. During her undergraduate career she specialized in emerging media platforms including social media and mobile marketing. Since relocating to Portland, Maine, in April, she has worked in game operations and ticket sales for the Red Sox Double-A Affiliate, the Portland Sea Dogs.

In her new role, Ms. White will use her background in event marketing and ticket sales to elevate the Group Sales practice at MSMT.

MSMT offers several benefits to groups including a personalized concierge service and discounted tickets. Groups of 15-25 people receive a discount of 20% on regular ticket prices, while groups of 25 or more receive 25% off. MSMT’s 2015 season opens June 3rd with The Full Monty.
