THE BRUNSWICK U-14 girls soccer team recently won the 2014 Division I Maine State Championship at Yarmouth. Hosted by Soccer Maine, Brunswick picked up wins over Falmouth (2-0), Winslow (2-1) and Scarborough (3-0) before defeating Gorham, 4-3 in penalty kicks in the semifinals. In the championship game, Brunswick edged York, 2-1.
