Democratic Rep. Erik Clark Jorgensen cruised to a second term Tuesday night as he won re-election with 2,133 votes to 616 for Republican James Azzola.

Jorgensen, 49, works as a consultant and administrator. He took 77.6 percent of the vote Tuesday.

James H. Azzola, 55, is a Republican who was making his first run for office. He is an engineer who works as a consultant.

The district includes part of Portland.
