SACO — Daniel J. Morse, 64, of Camp Ellis in Saco, passed away peacefully early Saturday morning at home.
He was born in Concord, Massachu-setts on Feb. 17, 1950, a son of Roger and Imelda (Louka) Morse.
He graduated from Acton/Boxborough Regional High School.
Daniel was a firefighter for the Town of Acton, Massachusetts (Local 1904) from 1980 to 2005. Thereafter, during retirement, he was proprietor of Seaside Service Construction and Management.
He was preceded in death by: one brother, Gary.
He is survived by: his wife, Irene (Stamatouras) Morse; his five children, Michelle, Daniel, Betheney, Matthew and Beth; his nine grandchildren, Tristen, Taylor, Abby, Ella, Daniel, Jocelyn, Allison, Maya and Nina; one brother, Richard; one sister, Theresa; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be from 10 a.m. to noon with a funeral service at noon, on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2014 at Cote Funeral Home, 87 James St., Saco. Entombment will follow in Laurel Hill Cemetery, Saco. To sign the guestbook or leave condolences, go to www.cotefuneralhome.com.
