BRUNSWICK — The Mt. Ararat seventh grade girls soccer team walked away with a narrow 1-0 victory over rival Brunswick on Monday.
Nadia Sinsmyr saved a penalty kick for the Brunswick Huskies, keeping the score at 1-0.
Mackenzie Dorr played hard on offense, doing everything to find a break in the Eagles defense. Lexie Guptil was a standout for the Huskies on defense, even taking a shot from midfield in an attempt to tie the game.
The Huskies are now 7-2 on the season and play on Thursday against Auburn.
