LEWISTON — Eva Jerome scored two goals and dished out an assist to lead the Mt. Ararat High School field hockey team to a 5-3 Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference over Lewiston on Tuesday.
The Eagles improved to 2- 10, both wins coming against the Blue Devils, who fell to 1-11.
Alyssa Curit chipped in one goal and an assist for Mt. Ararat, which hosts Mt. Blue on Thursday (3:30 p.m.). Porter Galvin and Madison Alexander added a goal each.
Kasey Talarico led Lewiston with two goals and an assist. Ashlynn Belanger chipped in a goal for the Blue Devils.
Haley Frizzle turned aside eight shots in the win.

Daija Misler scored both goals as the visiting Broncos left Brunswick with a KVAC win.
Dragons netminder Jordan Van Savage had 25 saves.
Brunswick is 1-11 and slated to visit Edward Little on Thursday (3:30 p.m.).

Morgan Karnes turned aside 12 shots as the host Falcons (7-4-1) held off Fryeburg Academy for a Western Maine Conference tie.
Jasmine Ramsay had six saves for the Raiders (7-4-1).
Freeport returns to action on Thursday at Greely (4 p.m.).
