NORTH DARTMOUTH, Mass. — The University of Southern Maine women’s tennis team had its chances to score, but suffered a 1-0 Little East Conference loss to UMass-Dartmouth on Saturday.
The Corsairs improved to 5-5, 2-1 in the LEC, while the Huskies dropped to 2-9-1 overall, 0-3 in the conference.
Mariah Cropley of Topsham made a solid effort in the loss, breaking free on the wing several times and providing dangerous shots and crosses.
USM hosts Eastern Connecticut on Saturday at 1 p.m.
