A CAPACITY CROWD OF MORE THAN 90 PEOPLE recently came to People Plus to hear U.S. Navy Capt. James Kirk talk about the leadship destroyer USS Zumwalt being constructed at Bath Iron Works. After the lecture, Executive Director Stacy V. Frizzle invited military veterans in the audience to join Kirk (back row, 4th from left) for a photograph and for an “en masse thank you!” for their service. Veterans from every military service branch were in attendance.
