DANBURY, Conn. — Angelica Jara rallied after being down one set to win the final point as the Western Connecticut State University Colonials defeated the visiting University of Southern Maine Huskies, 5- 4, in a Little East Conference women’s tennis match Saturday afternoon.
The Huskies fell to 3-7 overall, 1-4 in the LEC.
USM junior Sarah Hill of Topsham took a 7-6 (1), 6-3 win at No. 1 singles.
The Huskies are slated to host Colby-Sawyer on Wednesday at 4 p.m.
