BATH — Registrations are now being accepted for the annual Bath Area Family YMCA Pumpkin Run 5K and Children’s one-mile Fun Run.
The runs be held on Oct. 26, with the Fun Run beginning at 8:15 a.m. and the 5K at 9 a.m. Both runs are sponsored by Byrnes’ Family Hospitality Group, and begin and end at the YMCA.
Pumpkins will be presented to the first- and secondplace finishers in a variety of age groups, with separate categories for men and women. Awards will be also be given to the best costume. Runners are encouraged to come in costume, however costumes should not block sight or impede running.
The first 75 registrants in the 5K will receive fleece winter running hats.
Pre-registration is $15 and race-day registration is $20 for the 5K. The fee for the Fun Run is $5. Race day registration will be held from 7 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
