BATH — Sarah Greenier is offering an eight-week course in oil and acrylic painting beginning on September 28. Classes will be held on Sunday mornings, from 9 am to 12 noon, at her studio at 428 Middle Street in Bath.
The classes are designed for both beginner and intermediate students. Each class will start out with a painting demonstration, as well as instruction in all the basics of painting; including mixing colors, design and values. Students will work from still life and their own photographss to create a small body of work, and will experiment with using a palette knife and larger brushes, in order to loosen up and have fun while learning. Ms. Greenier is an award-winning oil painter and watercolorist, who has exhibited her work throughout Maine and New England.
