WALES — Deliah Schrieber scored all three goals for her team as the Lisbon High School girls soccer team came from behind for a 3-2 Mountain Valley Conference win over Oak Hill on Friday in season-opening action.

Schrieber opened the scoring at 28:14 of the opening half, with Abby Gamache picking up an assist.

Oak Hill (0-1) battled back, getting a pair of goals from Hannah Nadeau five minutes apart for a 2-1 halftime lead.

Schrieber tied the game, taking a pass from Emma Houle and finishing 2:22 into the second half.

The game-winning goal came with 30:25 remaining, with Drew Stewart-Staples earning an assist.

Lisbon, 1-0 and scheduled to visit Telstar on Wednesday, was outshot by the Raiders, 15-14, but held a 5-2 edge in corner kicks.

Greyhound netminder Ali Sult had six stops in the win, while Oak Hill goaltender Anna Dodge turned aside four Lisbon chances.

LINCOLN 3

Avae Traina scored off a scramble in front of the net to break a 2-2 tie and lift the host Eagles to a KVAC Class B win over the Shipbuilders at Newcastle on Friday.

Lauren Pelletier gave Morse a 1-0 lead in the first half off an assist from Sophie Sreden, and Sreden’s goal at the 29-minute mark of the second half gave the Shipbuilders a 2-1 edge.

But, Lincoln Academy scored two goals 15 minutes later for the win. Lillian Bisset and Chloe Hallowell had a goal each for Lincoln (1-0).

In goal, Shipbuilder Alesha Aucoin had eight stops, while Lincoln’s Miranda Achorn turned aside 12 shots.

Morse (0-1) is scheduled to host Mt. View on Tuesday at 5 p.m.

WISCASSET 5

BOOTHBAY 0

Miranda McIntire scored the final three goals as the visiting Wolverines opened MVC play with a win at Boothbay on Friday.

Hanna Foye and Brooke Carlton (assisted by Rachel Berry) staked Wiscasset (1-0) to an early 2-0 lead. Gabby Chapman set up McIntire for her first goal for a 3-0 lead at the half.

Kayla Gordon turned aside four shots in the win, while Boothbay (0-1) netminder Jamie Wheeler had seven stops.

Wiscasset opens it home slate on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. against Carrabec.

MT. ARARAT 3

MESSALONSKEE 2

Chloe Beattie, Rylee Leech and Nikki Bradstreet scored one goal each as visiting Mt. Ararat (1-0) opened with a Kennebec Valley Athletic Conference win at Oakland on Friday.

Lauren Williams and Kate Guerin split in net for the visitors, turning aside a combined 10 shots.

Taylor Poissonnier and McKenna Brodeur each scored a goal for Messalonskee, with Cassidy Charette and Lauren Pickett earning one assist apiece.

Mt. Ararat is slated to host Lewiston tonight at 6 p.m.
