GEORGETOWN — Come relax and enjoy a summer evening concert at the Georgetown Historical Society. Catie Curtis, a nationally known singer and songwriter, will entertain you with her music and songs on August 8 at the Georgetown Historical Society, 20 Bay Point Road. Catie’s credits include touring with Lilith Fair, recording a duet with Kris Kristofferson, and performing numerous times at the White House. Seating is limited for this event, and tickets must be purchased in advance. The tickets are $20 each and can be purchased at the Georgetown Historical Society on Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., or on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to Noon. You can also purchase tickets by mail, simply send a check to GHS, Box 441, Georgetown, Maine 04548. Paid tickets will be held at the door.
