BRUNSWICK — The Brunswick Parks and Recreation Department is scheduled to host a two-week baseball camp at Edwards Field.
Brunswick High School baseball coach and former Bowdoin College standout Luke Potter will direct the camp, with current high school players on hand to help out.
The camp will run from July 28 to Aug. 7, Monday through Thursday both weeks, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The final day, Aug. 7, will be capped off by night games at 5:30 p.m. at Lishness Field.
Participants will be placed into one of two age groups — ages 6-8 and 9-12. There will be daily games in a safe and challenging situation.
The camp will cover fielding, hitting, baserunning, catching/throwing, pitching mechanics and more.
Players need to furnish their own glove.
The cost is $44 for Brunswick residents, $58 for non residents.
To sign-up, visit the Rec. Center, located at 220 Neptune Drive, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
