WELLS — A vacancy has opened on the Wells-Ogunquit Community School District committee, and applicants for the position are being sought.
Any Wells resident interested in filling the seat, the term of which runs through June 30, 2015, should submit an email or letter of interest to the Wells town manager by noon Friday, July 11, and be available for an interview by the Wells Board of Selectmen at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 15 at the Wells Town Hall.
The process to fill a vacated school board position is outlined in the school district bylaws and in Maine law.
Letters of interest can be emailed to Town Manager Jonathan Carter at jcarter@wellstown.org or mailed to his attention at 208 Sanford Road, Wells. Return contact information should be included on all communications.
