BRUNSWICK — After many years of continuing education and commitment to implant dentistry, Dr. James Oshetski, a general dentist located in Brunswick, was recently recognized as one of the nation’s leading experts with the Diplomate certification from the ABOI/ID.
Oshetski and his family moved to Maine in 2008, bringing his expertise in implant and sedation dentistry to the Mid-coast region.
The ABOI/ID Diplomate designation symbolizes the highest level of competence in implant dentistry. Certification by the ABOI/ID attests to the fact that a dentist has demonstrated expert knowledge, ability and proficiency in implant dentistry through an examination process. Since its inception in 1969, the ABOI/ID has inducted only 436 Diplomates from general dentistry, oral surgery and periodontics.
Oshetski will be formally inducted into the ABOI/ID this fall at the annual American Association of Implant Dentistry meeting in Orlando, Fla.
