LIVERMORE ( AP) — Police say a 6-year-old girl was injured this week when a Jeep Wrangler she was playing inside began moving.
Police tell the Sun Journal that the Jeep rolled over the girl when she jumped out on Monday. Another 6-year-old in the Jeep was not hurt.
State Police Lt. Brian McDonough said the injured girl was taken to Maine Medical Center in Portland, where she was being treated for internal injuries.
McDonough said the children were pretending to drive when the Jeep shifted into neutral and began rolling. He said the injured girl became trapped under the vehicle.

We do not enable comments on everything — exceptions include most crime stories, and coverage involving personal tragedy or sensitive issues that invite personal attacks instead of thoughtful discussion.
